A visit to Uncle Eddie's Home

The first activity the Executive body undertook when elected was a food drive. This was in observance of World Food Day 2016 which is the 16th October every year. The target group for this drive was an elderly home which coincided with Guyana’s observance of Elderly Month. Donations went to Uncle Eddie’s Home situated in Sophia.
For the execution of the drive a collaboration was created between the Caribbean Youth Environmental Network and the Eco Trust Society. Boxes were used to store the items with logos from Banks DIH, CYEN and Eco-Trust. Present at the handing over was Mr. Godfrey Scott, president of CYEN, Ms. Nakasi Fortune, member of CYEN and the Eco-Trust Society team.
