On November 24, 2022, the Eco Trust Society witnessed the inauguration of its 2022-2023 Executive Body. In an unprecedented move, the elections were conducted online through Zoom and Google Forms. Mr. Gamaliel Mc Garrell, the newly elected president, led the ceremony where the executive members pledged their dedication to uphold the constitution of the Eco Trust Society for the academic term of 2022-2023.

Getting to Know the Executive Members:
President - Gamaliel McGarrell: "I consider myself an adventurous individual who finds joy in exploring the wonders of the great outdoors. Lately, I've been driven by a strong inclination to engage in outreach activities that support education, contribute to social development, and actively participate in volunteer work."
Vice-President Cindy Persaud: "The realms of science and the environment have consistently captured my interest. The marvels of nature hold a special fascination for me, inspiring my deep admiration and love for nature photography. Exploring new places, meeting diverse individuals, and acquiring fresh knowledge are all pursuits that bring me immense joy."
Secretary - Nazema Satar: "Driven by altruism, I find great fulfillment in volunteering. It's my way of giving back and expressing gratitude for the privilege of being on Earth."
Assistant Secretary - Ashley Matai: "During my childhood, I used to spend my summer vacations in a picturesque region with rolling hills and sandy clay landscapes. Playing amid the stunning flora and observing the local fauna during those times ignited my fascination with the environment. It was a consistently serene and rejuvenating experience for me."
Treasurer - Amelia Raghunath: "My childhood exposure to nature fueled my love for the environment. As I grew older, learning about the significance of mangroves and understanding ecosystem dynamics sparked my curiosity. This interest has led me to explore environmental issues, emphasizing the urgency for protection."
Assistant Treasurer - Eliana Sampson: "Having spent a significant portion of my upbringing within the indigenous community of the Rupununi, sustainability and awareness have consistently held a profound fascination for me."
Project Manager - Ruth Patterson: "Growing up in a picturesque farming community near a creek, I experienced the unmatched serenity and daily bliss of nature. Words can hardly convey the indescribable beauty that firsthand experience brings."
Assistant Project Manager & Second Year Representative - Christal Craig: "Early exposure to documentaries like National Geographic sparked my environmental interest. Growing up, I've grasped the crucial link between the nature's well-being and life, emphasizing the need for sustainability."
Public Relations Officer - Ishwari Misir: "The interconnectedness of environmental health and the responsible stewardship of our natural resources resonates deeply with me, inspiring a continuous journey of learning and action in the pursuit of a healthier planet."
Assistant Public Relations Officer - Natasha Pitamber: "The growing awareness of the critical role each individual plays in environmental protection fuels my dedication to making a positive impact."
Editor in Chief - Jasmine Crawford: "Through my efforts, I aim to inspire a sense of responsibility and mobilize individuals to take proactive steps towards the current climate practice, as the time to act is now."
Assistant Editor in Chief - Anthea Atkinsson: "As an animal lover and wildlife conservation enthusiast, I bond with fellow eco-conscious individuals. Despite my bookworm tendencies, I'm always up for a good adventure."
