Eco-Trust Society collaborates with Tain Campus to celebrate
World Soil Day 2019

On December 5th, 2019, members of the Eco-Trust Society collaborated with the University of Guyana, Tain Campus in Berbice, to raise awareness of World Soil Day. Students from various schools across Berbice were treated to a variety of presentations on topics such as Soil Erosion, Crop Profiling and Composting, which served to emphasized the importance of maintaining nutrient-rich soil. Further, composting bins were donated to the Soil and Plant Testing Laboratory at the Tain Campus to further aid in this endeavor.
