Eco Trust Society Compost Kitchen Waste Bit!
Come on guys, You must agree when I say that the best thing that can happen to food is that it makes it to our plates and we enjoy and savor every bit of it. :) We should also agree that avoiding to throwing out food which could have been eaten will save us money and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Some food waste, however, is inevitable. Egg shells, mango skins, and tea bags are never going to be on the menu, even if you add ketchup. This is where composting fits in. Home composting is a great way to stop this sort of biodegradable waste from ending up in the landfill, and guess what! Our gardens will really thank us for it. Some kitchen waste can be recycled into good quality fertilizers and improve soil quality. So next time you are about to dump that banana peel, consider composting instead.
